The GIFT project launched its first Summer Bootcamp in Implementation Science and Biostatistics at Ilia State University on July 10, 2024. This three-day intensive course brought together 70 participants, including early-career scientists, public health professionals, and researchers dedicated to strengthening evidence-informed public health practices in Georgia.
The bootcamp was officially opened with remarks from faculty at Ilia State University and Yale University, highlighting the importance of international collaboration and capacity building in implementation science and biostatistics.
Participants engaged in a dynamic mix of interactive workshops, expert-led lectures, and group discussions on advanced methods and practical applications in real-world public health settings.
